Automate Lightwave dimmers, for example, using the IFTTT web app that control Internet-connected devices.
IFTTT HOME AUTOMATION
If this, then that
Control your smart home with IFTTT and Lightwave. IFTTT stands for ‘If this, then that.’ It is a free web based application that allows you to connect, control and automate a large variety of internet-connected devices.
Create your recipes…
Simple IFTTT connections (or home automation integrations) between Internet-connected products and apps are made using ‘recipes’. These are commands that allow you to create device control ‘rules’: IF this happens (eg, weather forecast wet), then do THAT (eg, turn on a Lightwave dimmer).
Lightwave has several ‘channels’ on IFTTT: Lighting, Heating, Power and Events. You can use these channels to control relevant Lightwave smart home devices and create recipes. For example, the Lighting channel allows you to control Lightwave dimmers, in-line dimmers and dimmable plug-ins.
Getting started
To get started with IFTTT, you must first have a Lightwave Link device and a registered account. You can then visit the IFTTT website to start using the Lightwave channels.
