Smart Switch

The Lightwave Smart Switch is a universal high-load controller designed for switching any circuit up to 16A (3680W). With built-in energy monitoring, scheduling, and wireless triggers, it provides facilities teams with precise control over high-demand appliances such as hot water cylinders, panel heaters, electric vehicle chargers, ventilation systems, or plant room equipment. Compact and easy to retrofit, the Smart Switch extends Lightwave’s commercial energy management platform into areas traditionally left unmanaged by standard sockets or relays. 

Universal Load Control

Rated up to 3680W (16A), the Smart Switch can manage a wide range of electrical loads — from hot water systems and electric heaters to ventilation fans, towel rails, and EV charging points.

Integrated Sensors

Built-in temperature and humidity sensors enable intelligent control of ventilation, plant equipment, or environmental conditions based on real data.

Automations & Scheduling

Easily automate switching based on time schedules, occupancy triggers, or environmental conditions, ensuring equipment only runs when required.

Manual Override

Features a physical button on the device that can be programmed via the app, or used to run a timed override, giving staff a quick, intuitive way to activate equipment.

Flexible Switching Options

Supports Normally Open, Normally Closed, and Common terminal outputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide variety of equipment, including most boilers and HVAC systems.
